Service Projects:

Unity Christian School participates each year in a service project to help both the local communities as well as international aide. In 2005-2006 care packages were sent to soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan. During the 2006-2007 school year Unity raised money to help send the Carmichael family to New Guinea to serve as missionaries. Also, money was raised to support Calvin Christian school as it was destroyed by hurricane Katrina. In 2008-2009 Unity started a relationship with Center of Hope Ministries of Kankakee to work in their food pantry. This has continued each year since. In 2009-2010 money was raised for our Spanish teacher, Mr. Freddy, to travel on a mission trip to Argentina.

Unity Christian School also has an ongoing service project with the Momence Food Pantry held at the Momence OPC Church. A collection bin is located at the entrance of the school for families and citizens to drop off any donations.
