Service Projects:
Unity Christian School participates each year in a service project to help both the local communities as well as international aide. In 2005-2006 care packages were sent to soldiers in Iraq and Afganistan. During the 2006-2007 school year Unity raised money to help send the Carmichael family to New Guinea to serve as missionaries. Also, money was raised to support Calvin Christian school as it was destroyed by hurricane Katrina. The Lord has called us to serve and we do so with open arms. So this year we have teamed up with Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. We are collecting toys and "Wish List" items to bring to the children of the hospital and those struggling with cancer. To kick of the project Pam Blanchette (pictured to the right) came and spoke to us about her daughter Emily who has survived her cancer through the help of those at Children's Memorial.
